New York Fashion Week ran from February 9 through February 16 in New York City's Lincoln Center. As the Fall 2012 season comes to a close, we're reflecting on the inspiring experience recalling opulent gowns, luxe textiles, and truly innovative designs that glided down the runway. But for some designers making a statement means creating something bizarre, unflattering, disturbing, or just downright hideous. Such ensembles may hurt the eyes, but they are highly amusing!
