Now the Versace dress is getting another second life and the emerald green print is making its way across the country.
This time around it's a little less racy and the cleavage can be modified, thanks to a zipper. H&M teamed up with Versace, and the company opened the vaults to reuse the identifiable Miami Palm Print. "It was the first time the print has been used again from the archive," said a publicist for H&M. "It's accessible to the world, now."
Of course, not everyone can pull off a see-through navel dress, so other edits included less transparent fabric, in addition to the zipper. "But you can always zip it down to make it low cut," said the publicist.
For the less daring, the pattern was also added to everything from leggings to men's shirts. The line launched Nov. 19 and sold out the first weekend. Meanwhile, Lopez is still wearing her Versace over a decade later and the original "green jungle" dress is currently on display at the Grammy Museum.
To see more daring Grammy fashion on display, check back for full coverage of the Grammys on Feb 12. No doubt attendees like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Rihanna are preparing to challenge Lopez's record.
